Principle: Higher Order Thinking and Problem Solving
Title of the video: Extinction of life
Audience: Year 6
Previous Knowledge: Pupils know at least three types of extinct animals.
Objective: At the end of the video,
-pupils will be able to propose at least 2 ways to save the extinct animals.
– the pupils will be able to judge what is good and what is bad actions/ activities done that will harm the animals
1. Firstly is to collect images of:
-different extinct animals
-animas that are facing extinction
-what causes them to extinct
– etc… and more(cannot think of anymore at the moment) [More towards things that are harming the animals]
2.) In between videos will be thought provoking questions like:
-What will happen if……?
-Why do you think the people do things like that?
3.) End with the question- WHAT CAN YOU DO TO STOP THIS?
